Quick question, just want to double check that Im properly understanding the LP sale process:

When setting up a contract, the amount that the buyer should be charged is: (isk cost of item) + (LP rate * LP cost of item). Yes?
-E.g. Implant costs 250m isk and 250k LP. If the rate is 1000LP/isk, the contract should charge the buyer 500m isk?

Yes.

The first part of that formula, "isk cost of item", is to break even on your ISK when buying a blueprint from the LP store. The second part covers the non-ISK investment of your LP--i.e., your profit for the time spent running incursions (to get the LP in the first place).

If you valued your time differently, you might adjust the "rate", but the first part ensures your wallet doesn't notice the difference.
