Making SOV more appealing:

  • Increase anom spawns/ bounties or some form of ratting buff.
  • Increase mineral yields/ some form of mining and production buff.
  • Allow for moon mineral planetary seeding. Different planets mean different minerals, only one moon spawns minerals per seeding. There is a 1 month timer for seeding process followed by 4 month harvesting timer in which moons are exhausted and the process is repeated. Multiple seedings can occur simultaneously on a single planet . Each seeding must be different (can only have one seeding event for x mineral on y planet). Incorporate this into planetary structures and affiliate with DUST 514 providing incentive for purchasing that game.
  • Get rid of the TCU, it's useless.
  • Reduce game to two structures - a station and something not a station, give both the same attributes of i-hub and be happy.
  • Allow for jump fatigue reduction, alternatively remove jump bridge fatigue. Jump Bridge Fatigue dumb and useless and from the pvp statistics in the other dev blog (you misinterpreted slightly) it has a negative influence on pvp.

Making Super Capitals more appealing:

  • Capitals are the only ones who can fit "Entosis Links". This will definitely influence the fights you were wanting. Anyone who wants to own 0.0 space has a capital, so this is not a stretch nor discriminating against ~little guys~.
  • Smartbombers: Regarding super carriers, bombers have an alternative weapon mode/ or just new bomber types. Each bomber has a single smartbomb equipped with reasonable damage as well as blast radius. The catch is that each "Smartbomber" runs off the super carriers cap, which ultimately cuts off tanking modules. The longer the "smartbombers" fly around the more capacitor is drained from the super carrier. These attributes prevent super cap genocides of gangs and gives them equal vulnerability.
  • Reflection Mode: Allow titans to reflect a doomsday off another titan to hit multiple objects. For a titan to serve as a ~doomsday reflector~ it must enter a "Reflection Mode" similar to seige mode or something that lasts x amount of time. Maybe modules and skills could increase the number of 'reflected beams' coming from one doomsday. The reflecting titan takes 50% or more of the initial doomsday damage. This will prevent 10+ titans using a single titan to welp 100+ man fleets. Reflected beams can be targetable b/c of ~mirror modules~ or something.

Otherwise your sov changes aren't that bad.

EDIT: ANOTHER IDEA: Offer a button on EVE launcher that easily transitions you to "Singularity" server, tia.
EDIT: Changed that "capitals" are the only ones to fit "Entosis Link" modules instead of supers. More reasonable.

Anoms need to be removed as the primary income source in null and replaced with something more like missions to allow for much larger populations in a system.

God forbid people will have to learn to scan in order to gank a bear. This'll never happen, they'll whine, and it'll get scrapped. See? This is why we cannot have nice things here in Eve.P

But in any case, expect afk camper spam in all your systems, as it'll be necessary in order to drop indices enough to take sov. One of these days, you'll be called to "afk camper duty," and there's no excuse to not be there, since all you'll be doing will be... nothing.Cool

Each station has the ability to hire an agent or something.

It will not come that Entosis Links could only be fit on a super because a small alliance/corp can not fund something like that. And the main point is to give small alliances the chance to get some space in 0.0.

I would also like to see a buff of 0.0 income and population of people which can live in a system without decreasing there income. But i havenĀ“t read something in the blog so i keep farming FW points.

Like I stated earlier, EVE groups that lack supers most likely do not want 0.0 space. If they don't have the funds to field a single super carrier then it is doubtful they have the funds to support nullsec territory.

Allowing the Entosis link to be fit on sub-capital ships is not a bright idea. It will be turned into a form of harassment and an extremely obnoxious tool used with trolling techniques. Entosis Links should be used in ~seriouz~ internet space strategy by ~seriouz~ internet alliances and nothing means business more than dropping a supercap on field and waving that e-peen.

  • You need SOV to build super though so there is possible issue. (If all of supers in EVE would be killed somehow.) SOV would be effectively locked to those who own it at that point because they wouldn't build supers outside of their alliance/coalition for clear reasons.
I do agree that ending to this kind of situation is pretty much impossible and even if we did supers would end to neutrals sooner or later, but still.

This is the first thing that came to mind when I read the trollceptor article over on TM. On further thought, it may be a good idea, while avoiding the possible "trollceptor" issue, implementing different levels of Entosis Links, making it so attackers would either have to put significant assets at risk, or put forth a somewhat significant effort in their attempts.

Different sized Entosis Links would be available based on hull sizes. For example:

    • Supercapital Entosis: 1 required for effect (100% power), can be fitted to titans and supercarriers
    • Capital Entosis: 5 required for effect (20% power each), can be fitted to carriers and dreadnoughts
    • Large Entosis: 20 required for effect (5% power each), can be fitted to battleships
    • Medium Entosis: 50 required for effect (2% power each), can be fitted to battlecruisers and cruisers
    • Small Entosis: 100 required for effect (1% power each), can be fitted to destroyers and frigates

Any mix and match of various hulls could be used as long as they add up to 100%. For example, one Archon (20%), five Domis (25%), fifteen Tornadoes (30%), and twenty-five Atrons (25%), each fitted with their respectively sized Entosis Link, reach 100%, successfully executing the effect.

Earn the LP and buy items affiliated with the LP: i.e. missions in Catch would give true sansha LP etc..

On the other hand, anoms should stay and missions avoided to induce finite resources so that there is a need for more space for large corporations and drive conflict with neighbours.

If a large corporation could comfortably exist in a small region because everyone could just do missions, might as well reduce null space to said region.

Then it is impossible for anyone new to enter null or for CCP to be able to shrink the current powerblocks.

An increase of ~25% - 35% with nullsec income as well as 4-5 mall NPC owned regions (each around +/- 6 systems in between player owned regions) would have positive influence on 0.0 sov war.

As well as killing jump bridge fatigue.

Not if they were the only ones that could take sov. Their construction would be complicated much more than it is now, no one would let you build one if they could help it, and no one would sell one

So CCP wants to buff small gang PvP by letting them mess around with your SOV, and you are completely 110% against that so you want to make it a supercap blobfest again.

Anyone can buy or build cap ships and fly them, that makes sense as a requirement for sov.

    Ed: Caps, not supers.
