Why?

Are logistics not already overpowered enough?

Make their fitting requirements worse than T2 and their increased rep amount comes with significantly less tank or more expensive tank.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Because Space Pimp. I am always for new ships and modules and I don't see anything wrong with adding DED parts. Do it just for sub caps. On top of that, why not have a pimped out medic boat to shoot at for a pretty KM?

No one in the history of space fights has seen an Etana and gone 'oh noes whatever shall I do?' When bling hits the field the only thing that changes is the number/quality of ships people are willing to commit and the enthusiasm of pilots on both sides to score kills, otherwise known as better gameplay.

Bring on the DED space reps, it doesn't change the ECM, neuts, or blappage that we're already using to kill your logi, just the isk tally in your future loss mail.

Certainly not. Everyone and their grandmother would ignore the rest of the field to make sure that this ship turns into scrapmetal at all cost.

This, pretty much.

Guardians are already REALLY REALLY good. Like. Insanely ******* good. Other T2 logi cruisers are very strong as well.

Adding deadspace large reps probably wouldn't have much of a short term impact, but it would be a huge problem 2-3 years down the road when they become plentiful enough to be used in alliance doctrine fits.

I doubt there will be people in null 3 years from now they way Fozzie is changing things but hmm back on topic:

There are medium and small DeadSpace reps already so why not? It's not like there's much else to spend the isk on. I mean who is seriously going to buy a capital/supercap any time soon with the upcoming changes? Ugh getting off topic again: Billions of isk, not much to spend it on, we need more bling.

What we need are more ISK sinks. I just sold my carrier and bought a shiny Golem for missions. We need more things to spend I iskies on. Sure I've got a stockpile of ships and modules and adding more of those would just end the same. I propose adding the ability to buy a planet from Concord in low and HS. This would only work if the changes to PI ever happen. I'm out of ideas, let's get something to spend more money on aside from ships and modules.

Very much a first world problem you have there.

I don't see some people having a lack of stuff to buy as a valid reason for increasing the effectiveness of an already overpowered ship type.

Um, no they're not :) Do you Null? At all? Try locking anything before they die when you have 3 res damps on every single one of your logistics because of the 15 maulus fielded.

You didn't need that fleet anyway. 5mil ship and fittings > your 300 mil ship and fittings + your fleet.

Did I live in Null? Indeed for a number of years, did the full Sov warfare thing CTA's, Strat Ops all the full on F1 monkey stuff. Now its smaller LowSec encounters which are much more fun.

I'm more than well aware of how effective damps are, strangely enough we have them in LowSec as well but we also fit remote sebos and lock our logi with them. It requires your pilots to be on the ball and think about more than pressing F1 but it negates a fair amount of the effectiveness of damps. Even so I will grant n+1 has its advantages.

All this doesn't change the fact that logi are very much in need of a look at especially there ability to rep at long distance and adding to that ability and to the volume of rep they can produce with spangly modules does not help the situation.
