The best way to increase tracking on a Legion is?

Hello Caps, I read at some website that the stacking penalty doesn't effect 2 tracking computers loaded with tracking script. Can anyone confirm this? Or is it best to use a Tracking computer and a Target painter?

Just checked on PyFA, but will double check in game too:

Penalty: Using more than one type of this module or similar modules that affect the same attribute on the ship will be penalized.

There is nothing in the description or attributes of the scripts to say they negate the stacking penalty.

Tracking computers do have a stacking penalty, even with scripts.

With two tracking computers, the penalty is however not very large, so you can fit two without worry. Use target painters and/or webifiers if you have fleet members who also need help in applying their damage. For close orbiting targets, a web will likely outperform both painters and tracking modules.

A second module will work at 87% effectiveness.

However, if you are having trouble tracking a target, it's more appropriate to use Target Painters/Stasis Webifiers instead of just more tracking mods.

Can confirm. Plus, the use of a capless weapon system cannot be under emphasized, especially for solo work where you don't have other people to bail you out if you get neuted.
