It's not the damage, Titans can't track ****, and Doomsdays are a much needed threat for other capitals. Its remote repair. Remote repair scales too well in to Capital size, rendering Supercarriers and Titans invulnerable to everything but Doomsdays (B-R was just a battle of Doomsday salvoes). Changing Supers into boost-ships doesn't really change anything, as they will still be invulnerable (and granted, if both are de-armed, they wont be able to do anything while trapped stupidly in bubbles, but they wont be dying either, so its no less a stalemate than it is today).


I'd argue that remote repair is overpowered at all levels in this game. The days when people would just slug it out on a grid till someone won are gone. Now people just wait till they no longer have enough logi to hold the field and peace the hell out till a reinforcement logi fleet can be built.

Well, I have never flown a capital or super, nor have I ever intended to. However, the very idea of removing the ability of such ships to directly do damage kinda makes me sick.

Interesting thought though, whats going to happen to Fighter Bombers? Moved to being usable by Carriers (and maybe Carriers might have drones removed in return, now thats a thought)? Deleted outright (Fight Bomber 5 is a loooot of sp to reinburse)? Changed into something else (what non-combat things are available? Make them ECM or logistics drones? Give them entosis links?)?

And what happens to the Revenant, and more interestingly, if the Revenant and Shadow gets changed so its no longer "combat" is this an Incursion nerf? (Heh heh, but no-one thought of that P)

yeah. turn them into bricks...
it surely isnt that you skill for over a year to get proper skills to fly a super.

just take that away from customers :)

Same problem as before really. People who got in a coffin are stuck in them, short of blowing them up for 2% of their investment.

The only thing that makes this dirty pool is the inability to mothball supers.

Reading those butthurt comments in that EN article was amazing. It was literally people complaining that ships they never use have a different role they don't understand yet and that local is not the most flawlessly working intel tool anymore. RIP null :D
