No local outside of the Sov primetime, let alliances set their own primetime.

but what would I know, I'm just a salvager

Because not knowing the cloaker is there makes it safer.....?

You assume that the system is camped. So if you are going to pve, you factor in the risk and either pve with a group, pve with backup on call, not pve alone, or pve knowing that your ship will probably die horribly.

You assume the risk, instead of instantly running whenever local goes up by 1.
It's a different method of thinking.

Yaay!!!!

Begs the question...why not just assume the risk now?

My experience in null is limited (had a character in Brave for awhile, and now I randomly jump around exploring), but I've never understood how knowing someone is there is worse than assuming someone is there. I get the psychological warfare of seeing a potential hostile in space, but if the knowledge is removed doesn't that just make the paranoia a permanent thing?

Just get RSI in your d-scan finger, that relieves most of the paranoia

but what would I know, I'm just a salvager

When I lived in a wormhole, I was convinced I was going to break d-scan from overuse Big smile

I found it oddly refreshing.

Now, the pos mechanics? Oh, hell no. That was what eventually drove me out.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Because right now there is no risk when there isn't a neut in local...
...and when there is a neut nullbears would rather cry on the forums endlessly instead of dealing with the risk.
