Achura -- any remaining reason NOT to use a remap?

Back long ago, when attribute points were changed, I read that it was beneficial NOT to use a remap on Achura, because I would lose forever my "special" unbalanced attribute distribution.

Is this still the case? Does it matter anymore?

Thanks

The nerfs to supercaps will cause more super pilots to join the largest alliances who can properly "support" their deployment, further concentrating firepower/wealth in EVE. The end result will be fewer "fun" fights, and will hurt EVE in the long run.

You should make up your own mind about whether or not those attributes are beneficial to your training plan.

The Achura
* Inventors = 12i 3c 7p 6m 6w
* Monks = 8i 3c 9p 6m 8w
* Stargazers = 8i 3c 8p 9m 6w
You could assign 5 points with a max of 3 to any attribute (I chose Inventors and +1i +2p +2m).

If you currently have 15c, you will lose 2 points to charisma if you remap, as 17 is now the minimum. If you can stick to a training plan, then you might notice a benefit by remapping. However, if you are like me and find it hard to stick to a plan, then you may find those 2 points are worth preserving.

I'm just starting to reach the point where I'm considering a remap away from int at >56m SP. I've not remapped yet because whenever I do a year long plan I save at most 6 to 14 days, and I know I will never stick to that plan. I have a hard time sticking with plans of 90 days.

I seem to remember there were a few Achura with abnormally high intelligence, and a patch later prevented creating them like that. Those were mostly research alts to begin with, so I doubt if they'd need bother to remap now.

If you are going to train accordingly for your "special" attribute, then I see that as the ONLY value there. I would do that as long as possible.

Training everything else in the game slower, just to preserve a unique/outdated/not so valuable condition, = negative results imo.

It would not add value to the character in a sale either imo. The effects of slow training will result in SP lost. That will amplify over longer periods of time.

Just my opinion, perception.

you should ALWAYS be specced either per/wil or int/mem and only training skills that use the attributes you are specced for.

So out of curiosity, how many SP/hr does a freakishly high perception Achura generate with +5's in?

it makes no difference.
no matter what you are, the base levels and remapable points are the same.
max sp/hour is 2700.
