So today I decided to start PI.

Which type of planet is the best for gathering resources to build ships from BP's?

you can`t build ships from planetary resources (with exception of T2 ships which uses construction blocks)...you need minerals mined from asteroids

did you read what he wrote? he want to do PI because he things he will build ships from PI material...
