Black Ops Bs too lvl 5?

What are benefits of training Black Ops to lvl 5, as opposed to leaving it at lvl 3?

You can take better advantage of the ships bonuses.

Per level of Black Ops Skill:

All: 125 % bonus to ship max velocity when using Cloaking Devices

Widow: 30 % bonus to ECM Target Jammer strength
Redeemer: 7.5 % bonus to Large Energy Turret tracking speed
Sin: 5 % bonus to ship inertia modifier
Panther: 5 % bonus to ship max velocity

I wasn't sure how the B.O. skills worked and the skill book description was a little bit vague

If you are preparing to fly a T2 battleship I would have hoped that you knew how to look up how ship bonus skills are applied.

Having Black Ops to V allowed one of my characters to escape a gank after aggressing in a wormhole. I was being hunted out by a Stabber. I cloaked, flew straight down, and if I was any slower I would have been decloaked (I was in a bubble, and warping off was not an option).

So just like 2% can save you in other cases, the bonus to cloaked speed is huge.

I'm a big fan of level V skilling in most things. Especially T2 hulls and expensive hulls.
Very few skills where I think 'level IV is good enough' (Transport ships for instance)

I have the BO skill to IV myself... but I have never owned a BO and don't plan on it soon.

Had Panther for a few months and finally got to play with it and enjoyed the counter hot drop experience
