lol love these lines

It seems the only way to keep the wealth accumulated through the hard work of generations of dedicated members secure is in a personal hangar which defeats the point of having a corporation.

Eve has no consequences, and while some people like this about Eve, some people do not.

lol at the AWOX whiners when CCP puts the friendly fire option in, but still cannot fix any damn reason to form a corp when guys steal what basically amounts to some else's effort (aka grind), why join a corp when there is no incentive to join/be in one since its just a piggy bank waiting to be broken open. Yeah, off topic slightly....CCP may of made EVE a sandbox, but forgot to put in a reason to be in a corp since its just ripe to be ripped off Roll.

The theft is the very reason why corp hangers shouldn't be free-for-all. The temptation to walk off with hundreds of billions with virtually no risk or consequence would be too great for most people unless you feel personally connected to the people who own said assets (friends OOG, etc).

As convulted roles are, they're there for a reason.

In the real world embezzlement has a consequence. It seems unrealistic that CONCORD would only deal with pew pew situations.

Oh look. Another post claiming CONCORD is some type of police force....

The only reason CONCORD is in the game is to provide the punishment mechanics for a red card in high sec.

These stories are awesome but I admit the one thing that bothers me is that the default plan is that now he'll just start using a new character and never again use the current one except for self-promotion on the forums.

The one thing I would enjoy more than a story about a corp theft that took months of planning is a story about a revenge plot that took years of scoping and stalking. It's too bad there are no revenge stories in EVE.

Can we brainstorm some approach to ensuring that the actions stick to the player, and discouraging more than a few identity changes? Without making the game obnoxious, of course.

One way to make actions stick would be to eliminate the character bazaar. That way if someone was going to burn a high SP character they would have to put a lot more work into it.
