Updating launcher since playing yesterday (today its a 12GB patch)WTF

Hello,

Yesterday I played on the test server and it was wonderful, today I attempted to play on the test server and was greeted with:

DOWNLOADING UPDATES TO RES CACHE (47.16 MB/11.33 GB) 0.0%


WTF lol, isn't the game itself 20 GB. Why is the updater downloading another 50% more in one over night patch.

yea me too, i got same res cache download around 10GB, seriously 10GB? it took me 3 days to download that big, for something as testing , isnt that practically download from scratch? fyi i got working tranquility client and i copied all of it, so it should pretty updated, but to download another 10GB? my client isnt that outdated, fix it

same here this time it asked me 20gb patch . im using clean TQ copy with launcher updates so the data nessecary are there , so why download new data. just update them not completly replace

so no solution? I tried the update patch just now and it still updated 10GB after around 500mb patch, but a friend of mine is just need to download 500mb, i got the copy from current TQ version, so it must be not too far away from current version, 1gb is acceptable, but 10gb is like downloading from scratch, so no i wont do it
