Faction requirement for level two agents?

I am currently 1.01 standing with the Wiyrkomi corporation, which just above the required standing for level 2 agents in that corp. Yet, when I went to the level two agent, he said that I needed a higher standing (didn't specify corp or faction). Do I need a certain faction rating in order to access level 2 agents?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

The only requirement is that your faction standing (to Caldari State in this case) is above -2 (that's negative 2)

If you've just gained that standing with Wiyrkomi then relog, sometimes stuff gets cached. Make sure that the level 2 agent you're talking to really is from Wiyrkomi and that your corp standings with Wiyrkomi really are above 1.0

If you are going to run missions, train social skills, you should never be using level 1 agents unless you are trying to work back from negative standings.

Factions standings are virtually worthless when dealing with agents, in fact the only time they will ever matter is if they are really low.
Your corporations standings are completely worthless for missions as they have no affect, in times pas they did but not anymore.
The only standing that really matters for missions is your standing to that specific NPC and that agent.

Not quite.

Your standings to the faction can replace your standing to the corp for access to higher level missions. For example, if you have 5.0 standings to Gallente Federation, you can run level 4 missions for any NPC corp in the Gallente federation, no matter what your standing to that corp is.

Hence high faction standings help when you're moving among agents within one faction.

Pretty much, high faction standings give you a choice of agents from nearby corps if your preferred agent gives you a run of "bad" missions you had to decline. It can matter a lot when blitzing for LP as it reduces the standing hit from too many declined missions at the one agent.

As far as I'm concerned the most important reason for faction standing 5.0+ is that you can then run any L4 locator of that faction.

But that's just me. vOv
