I think you may be on to something.

These guys are definitely looking for something. Desperately.

You guys seem to forget something pretty important:

We already KNOW there's a super weapon on the loose, the one the Amarr Empress acquired by some rather shady means from "the drones". Now, where is that piece of tech hmm? It hasn't been seen since the one and only time it was used.

Makes one think just from WHO it actually came from...

It was her majesty’s divine mercy that those heathens didn't have time to dwell on their death, but rather were extinguished like a thieving rodent in a snap trap. For the glory of the empire!

That weapon was actually destroyed in the "end of the World" chronicles- a good read Smile and it came from a Terran outpost that was found near the EVE gate- it had been cloaked.

Terran outpost that was cloaked. Is it just me or does this bear a striking resemblance to current events?

Quote:
Given the current evidence available there appears to be strong historical and sociological connections between the Jovian and Sleeper societies. The attempts to find a cure for the lethal Jovian Disease forced a separation of the two groups, where the Sleepers used their expertise in virtual worlds to prolong the grave state of depression caused by the disease. To find a permanent cure, the Sleepers went on a quest to reconstruct their corrupted DNA; the cause of the disease. For this they needed unmodified DNA from other ethnic groups which eventually lead to the eradication of the Yan Jung Nation. Unsuccessful in solving the DNA mystery with specimens from New Eden alone, the Sleepers constructed huge Motherships and star gates to take them far beyond New Eden into w-space. There they continued their DNA research on the Talocans, a race untainted by the massive radiation emitted by the collapse of the EVE Gate. Seemingly, this research was either unfruitful or is still ongoing thereby making the final fate of the Sleepers unknown.

https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/The_Sleeper_-_Jovian_Connection

The Jove have a disease that they are not able to cure. Unlike the Capsuleer who can live forever because of Clone Technology the Jove are still not able to defeat the disease. Even if the Jove use Clone Technology the virus which is encoded within their body somehow finds its way into the new clone. All Jovian's eventually die from the disease that causes a psychological breakdown to occur.

To this end alone is probably the reason why the Jovian's have band jacked theirselves into their own space and will not interact with New Eden. The utter madness that comes as a result of the Jovian Breakdown would set the societies of New Eden on fire as once loyal Jovian friends and allies suddenly turn on their closest friends destroying them to no matter. Every once in a while though a Jovian or group of Jovian's having become fanatically obsessed with finding a cure will travel into New Eden secretly looking for anything that will help them cure. In this pursuit they are unrelenting and uncaring and will stop at nothing to find the cure. Some in their final years amass such a fanatical personality that the aggression actually changes the physical appearance of the Jovian into a manifestation of what can only be said to be the actual virus itself.

With the Jovian's possessing technology that far exceeds that of New Eden their ventures into our territory can only mean one thing. They are here to gather up our young women to take them back to Jove so that the next generation of Jovian's can be born free of the Jovian disease.

The Jovian's would most likely be looking for specific females with specific DNA traits. Traits that have not been recognized yet but would tend to be on the side with having naturally strong immune systems. Once these females are found the Jovian's will stop at nothing to harvest them all to the very last one.

Capsuleers would not ne affected most likely because of our cloning technology but rather the citizens of New Eden living on planets who do not enjoy long life would be the targets because their bodies are free and clean of technological improvements that the Jove would need to re-build their society with.

The Jove can be easily be found in modern society even through their use of cloaking technology. They are the ones who constantly complain about someone doing something else that gives the person a sense of life over them. A sense of life they cannot enjoy because of the hate surrounding their never ending need to find a cure for disease that consumes their entire life.

The Amarr would be rather foolish to use it because when they do every single faction, Capsuleer and Pirate alike will home in on its location thus bringing the end of the Amarr Empire.

I'm starting to believe that the Drifters are the "Others" that appeared after the original Other and needed Jovian biomass to create bodies to leave the construct.

Now the question is- what are the others? Grious said that they "appeared", but not even the Jove know everything.

Seeing the very similar names between the Drifters (Tyrannos) and the Tyrants of the second Jove empire, another idea has become a possibility: the Others could, perhaps, be the Tyrants themselves, having hidden their minds in the Sleeper construct as the empire collapsed. Additionally, ( and this is the most tinfoil-y part) what if, perhaps, the original Other in Jamyl's head is Miko Bour, the first of the Tyrants and the leader of them in the second empire? As strange as it sounds, the Other seems just as ruthless in its desire as a unifying classical Tyrant was.

All tinfoil, of course, but it's plausible and would make the appearance of the Others have context.

Also, I believe the Seekers and Drifters are using the Entosis module or something similar, which makes the theory on the "Repair Man" chronicle all the more relevantSmile

So I'm sure this isn't new at all, or anything, but weren't we talking about some Site One thing transmitted from Hilen Tukoss? Noone mentioned the one here.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=409064&find=unread

Someone in the comments connected that one of the stings of numbers was also like the ID to a station in Eram, which as I was passing through noticed had a site called Arek'Jaalan Site One: Antiquus. It's probably been there a while since people were there but maybe it's worth mentioning. Maybe it's possible for us, the capsuleers, to find Hilen? In the site there was a gate under construction....

This is a signature.

It has a 25m signature.

No it's not a cosmic signature.

Probably.

Btw my corp's recruiting.

That weapon was actually destroyed in the "end of the World" chronicles- a good read Smile and it came from a Terran outpost that was found near the EVE gate- it had been cloaked.

Is this Cannon or 3rd Party fiction? I'm assuming its cannon since you're referencing it. I just bought Eve Sources and Templar One, have to starting reading when it gets here.

Totally canon- and you'll be finding the superweapon's origin in Empyrean age; the End of the World chronicles are on the community website Smile

There are very few people who are considered experts on the cannon. Uriel is one of them. You can take what he says lore-wise to the bank (and when it comes to speculation, he ain't too shabby either)

On sisi the Lux Kontos have an icon and description now- nothing too new, but it's something!

Also, there's a "Jove Corpse" and "Drifter Battleship Wreck" - and there are a number of separate entities of the Jove Observatory falling apart if you haven't seen it yet!

That's an interesting twist. Why would they make these things fall apart. Its not like they are Minmatar rust buckets..
