So today I updated as did all of you and now i can't play for more than 10min before the entire system crashes and resets. Is this happening to every one else?

Ironically, EVE has been 100% stable for me today (knock on wood).

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Can I ask what you guys are doing when these crashes are occurring? Or is it fair to say there is no discernible pattern?

The only discernible pattern seems to be when enabling multi-threaded OpenGL or music. Those two settings (either separate or together) will cause any client to lockup within a 60-minute timeframe. This is consistent whether I run one, two or three windowed clients - and doesn't seem to be influenced by any other background applications I have going (Safari browsing, for example).

The only other anomaly I've noticed lately seems to be when jumping through gates. After completing a gate jump and then issuing a command to dock I'll get a message to the effect that the object isn't close enough to perform that action. Sometimes MWD'ing a few km away from the gate and attempting the command again works, but usually I have to quit the client and re-launch it.

Both bluetooth and sound output changes give me an instant freeze of the client.
It prohibits me from using my BT headset and BT keyboard, nor can I change the
system sound settings.

Running on a MacPro (late 2013) with Yosemite 10.10.2.

Thanks for the info, guys. Without going in to details, we are making a concerted push on the Mac client at the moment. All info regarding stability is greatly appreciated.

Just FYI the stability of the "Download-on-Demand" launcher/client update on Singularity is terrible. The client keeps on crashing every few minutes asking if i want to create a crash dump, where before the new "Download-on-Demand" launcher/client was deployed, my Sisi experience was completely stable

I made a post about it here under the Macintosh sub-forum:

and here under the dev blog "Download-on-Demand Is Coming To Singularity!"

Yesterday I had no problems... today I have crashed twice in 20 minutes.

I just turned off Open GL and all audio to see if that makes a difference. I know it makes a huge difference on stability if my firewall isn't on (due to network noise I would assume).

Late 2013 Mac Pro, OS 10.10.2.

Common Programs open: Parallels Virtual Desktop(Typically with atleast 1 virtual windows server/client running), Chrome, Remote Desktop, and Itunes. With all of this running, my system still has 14GB or Ram available and no noticeable CPU load before or after the client crash.

Also, when the client crashes, its a feeze. Audio stops, the screen frezes, and my character stays in space doing whatever I was telling it to do before, but not warping off (no disconnect). That does not happen until I force quit.

Let me know if there are any other details you would like on this problem, or anything you would like me to try to resolve it.

We're well aware of the current DoD launcher playing havoc with Mac clients, we hope to have this ironed out soon. Thank you for the further information!

Froze again this morning on one client, but not the other. Another piece of information to note: I cannot close the client that crashed using the X at the top left, or by right clicking in the tray to close. I have to either terminate the process or cmd+ctrl+esc and force quit it there.

I don't know that this information is useful, but you never know.

I have Mac Pro (bought in late 2014), 12 GB ram, AMD FirePro D300. Running Yosemite 10.10.2.

Every time some app touches the display settings EVE will freeze.

I have LCD hooked up to my mac along with my TV that is connected through HDMI. And each time I turn my TV on, OSX will adjust the screen resolution (note: I have display mirroring off and my main screen will flicker nonetheless -- even though my main screen resolution doesn't change at all). When this occurs EVE will freeze every single time.

Unfortunatelly my TV is sometimes turning itself on to check on updates or w/e (without lightning up TV screen ofc) but this semi-turn on will trigger display change settings in OSX and EVE will, of course, freeze. In this case I cannot really control when this happens and it usually happens in very bad moments :(

Most of the time when EVE freezes, an error message will pop-up asking if I want to generate a crash report.

PS: This doesn't just happen when TV is turned on, any app that triggers similar changes to display screens will make EVE freeze.

Unfortunately, with the latest Mac update (Tiamat 1.7) I've now gone from stable to unstable - with 2 freezes in just a few hours. Both times I was attempting to enter warp and the screen just locked.

Addendum: Make that 3 lockups in the past few hours.

Still crashing constantly. Turning off audio wasn't the answer.

Same here. I'm not sure what else changed, but my frame rate has gone to sh*t. I'm barely breaking 20 fps now when I was averaging closer to 60 fps previously.
