Interesting, is it not, that as much as Concord is sounding the alert they will do nothing to assist when a non hostile is attacked by these Drifters...

Much like Concords treatment of non capsuleer piracy. They'll warn, but will they act when a non-capsuleer breaks a law a Capsuleer would lose a ship for?

Nope..

Why does this apparent double standard exist?
Why also does Concord presence seem to have more to do with the lack of availability of certain ores over other matters like system population?
What else is Concord not telling us?

Law is meant to be a system to protect, but Concord applies it as means to Control.

It's time we turned a critical eye on Concord and asked some tough questions.

It's nice to see things parroted.

I see you're still sticking your nose into places where you don't even begin to understand what's going on.

Says the one with criminal standing...
a standing applied by Concord I might add.

Our own disagreements aside, even you must see that justice applied in an unbalanced way is no justice at all.

I do have some good news on the other matter, paperwork will soon be in hand to prove or disprove the charges against a certain refreshment shop.

As I've said elsewhere, the Jove Directorate is a CONCORD signatory. Unless we can clearly establish that these Drifters or Vigilant Tyranni are not members of the Directorate, then CONCORD's hands are tied, much as CONCORD's hands are when the various states' navies engage in cross-border incursions.

It is not a conspiracy.

If Drifters are members of the Jove Directorate that is the very definition of a conspiracy!

Mr. Thellere; the law is applied equally. I've fought Gallente and Minmatar naval vessels in Caldari space; no CONCORD involvement, no bounties. Why not the Jove?

As much as I am reluctant to agree with Makoto on anything, this is certainly the case and has been since I became a capsuleer. When I have destroyed DED, and Naval vessels the only way to get a payout was to collect whatever was dropped in their wrecks and sell it to interested parties. It makes sense, the Naval vessels after all wouldn't have concord bounties being signatories, and CONCORD isn't going to put a bounty on itself with the DED vessels either. For a very long time, CONCORD wasn't even paying us for destruction of rouge drones, despite the clear risk they posed.

The question that should be asked, is why does a pilot like me, who regularly shoots DED ships, and breaks CONCORD rules, and has a terrible security status, still gets paid by CONCORD all the same when I destroy for example an Angel cartel vessel. If anything, CONCORD helps subsidize pirate rivalries, and those who turn their own guns against them.

Also Rictor, calling Lisa a criminal for -0.6 security status is really grabbing for something. CONCORD doesn't do anything negative to someone with that sort of security status.

CONCORD and DED are doing the sensible thing, which is to prepare for the worst and try not to kick the hornets' nest. Especially with capsuleers inevitably doing plenty of kicking.

Speaking of Consolidated Command, their directive is to oversee our actions and judge accordingly. Pirate organizations are the demesne of local police on a per-system basis.

No, I'm not that kind of doctor.
