Can fighter bombers hit npc battleships, battlecruisers, or cruisers? Can they hit them effectively?

Because I'm not in the mood for trolling, no. Fighter Bombers are anti structure/anti capital drones. The Real way to PvE in your supercarrier it to fit a full rack of smartbombs, and just blast the hell out of them that way.

I assume so, since we saw an aeon in a mission in a system near us the other day Lol

Then again, he may just have been doing it for the lulz, unfortunately he warped to a deep safe and cloaked before we could get a broadsword pilot there.
