Because the timer is under 24 hours, you can still clone-jump from wherever you poke your head out into k-space in the morning, and return in the evening before the hole collapses.

Handy for getting skill books, or updating market orders, or getting to a level 4 locator agent.

Even if the hole collapses or you wait a full day before returning, it can save you a lot of jumps of travelling.

Maybe one day we will be able to jump into wormholes like we are able to in Thera, that would be awesome.

I have mine trained to IV and have jump cloned once since 2009.
