Anybody knows if this is only a temporary setback? It has been down for 2 days and it’s the most helpful and simple tool I have found to date.

I'm afraid, someone tell me if this is clickbait or real...

You don’t have to click on it. Search the forum, this link has been posted before. I only need replies from people that were already using the tool but thanks for the bump:)

I use this too, and am missing it :(. I'm a little concerned, because it looks like his web server might have been wiped. If you goto just http://pwning.de, it has a generic new server message.

Do you already have any alternative? I need a tool that tells me which of my orders have been fulfilled so I can restock and relist. I also loved the estimated net value of my character. I tried several tools today and I just don’t like any of those more popular ones. They seem too bloated for what I need and reporting on past orders is nowhere on the same level as it was in NEAT.

Do you know who the owner is? I would be happy to help him host it if that was his main issue for shutting it down.

It is (was? Sad) the best profit calculator for station trading.
Easy to use, add transaction tax and brokers fees so you can have your REAL profit.

I used also http://eve-merchant.co.uk/ but it seems to be down too...

I just sent him a PN in Eveger, maybe its just the server.

Btw: Kontalaa ist currently not active as far as i know - Neat also is a bit outdated, some items are missing etc.

If some IT-Guys would help him rebuilding the whole project, he would consider it.
But as long as he is alone he do not want to.

So... is there a capable programmer or two available to help him ? Smile

I tried registering on their forums, but can't get the registration link to process past the birth date check .I'd be happy to talk to him about helping him going forward, if you can relay the message or have another method of contact. I'd eve-mail him, but since someone mentioned he's not playing anymore, I didn't think that'd be very effective.

o/

I'm still alive and my main account is still subscribed .. so i can read eve-mails.

But i don't really play anymore and don't use NEAT on a day-to-day basis so i don't notice when it's down...

I thought a lot about rewriting it in a proper manner ... PHP is just the wrong tool for any job ..

When i rewrite it it will be in Haskell (yesod + postgres i suppose) and a more fancy frontend.

If anyone is interested i could set up a git/redmine/... and we can start working. First there need to be an API-wrapper (possible CREST?) and then its just a matter of putting the stuff in the accustomed database-format, that i know. Yesod does that for us at least.

I would put the API-Wrapper on github to get PR from other guys using it, thus ironing out bugs.

Is anyone with me? :)

PS: I got no Eve-Mail from whoever telling me the service was down... last time i reacted within hours of getting the eve-mail... so try it next time the database crashes :)

That's a good thing to know!

I want to thank you very much for your tool: station trading is not the most exciting activity, but http://pwning.de/neat/ gives a very satisfying feedback.

I haven't worked with Haskell or yesod yet, but I will take a look at them and if it's something familiar to the languages I work with, I'll shoot you an eve mail. I'm happy to help as your tool has the best features I've found!

Thanks for your continued support, I will definitely shoot you a mail if it goes down again in the future!

Hey there,

I love NEAT. Sent an email to the owner on the domain but it bounced. Glad to see you reading this thread.

Have you thought about open sourcing the whole project? I'd love to fork it and update it with some custom thoughts (for me). It's fairly decent and could use a nice refresher on the UI and internals.

Just throw the whole thing on Github and post a link here. Would love to see how it can be improved upon.

So Kontalaa, your main is still Kolimara, correct?

I was hopping to get premium access if its still possible. The transport Search and order watch sounds very lucrative
