I guess its been long time since such modules appeared in the game. They look pretty niche.
Wanted to know if there is some real stories of usage of them?

They're excellent on DSTs for escaping bubbles or moonwalking away if you get pointed but not scrammed. :)

Warping right on top of rats from the acceleration gate on LV 4 missions?
Activate MJD and your cruise/torps chew them up before the can get in decent range.
By the time they close in in enough numbers for their DPS to be a worry, your mod timer will be finished and you
can wash, rinse, and repeat.

If you rat in null or low, you can do a one click GTFO if someone pops up on D-Scan as well.

Definitely a tool that you build a play style around, but a decent tool indeed.

Underlined the part that suggests you did not read the "medium" in the op.

But maybe the same tactic could be used on a bc for level 3s. Do/did you do that?

I use it all the time in pvp. Makes BCs somewhat usable in solo pvp. Fit for max application to kill anything that can scram you. Once scrams are off field (dead), and you are pointed by that linked faction fit garm.. mjd away and collect tears. Make sure you do it in hull for extra tears.

Or, warp to large plexes at 100, find huginn sitting at 0 with a merlin. MJD ontop of huginn.. easy kill.

That's the best use I've figured out with them in pvp.

You can form a bunch of artycanes with MJD and mwd + 2 invulns and get a skythe. Mobile CBCs are hilarious.
