Make Missiles have a progressive tree like the turrets. That’s right I said it, just way too easy to hope skip and jump to whatever you want to learn in the missile tree. Should be forced to learn light missile specialization > Heavy missile specialization > cruises missile specialization or just remove the turret tree altogether and you can speed train into what every class like missiles without having to pre-specialize in the lower class beforehand.

Now that I thought about it, just kill the turret progression tree. Think this will help keep new subscribers interested as they can speed train in to t1 hulls with t2 modules faster without being conformed to just the drake for example. Cross training becomes less of a chore.

Have you seen the requirements to use tech 2 missiles?

Last time I checked I need small pulse laser specialization to Lvl IV before I can inject medium pulse laser specialization, but for my heavy missile specialization I just need standard missile to Lvl III, not even the specialization.

Like I said in my last post I changed my mind and I think the turret tree should be like the missile tree.

I'd agree with you if missiles weren't ****.

As it stands, who cares.

Noobs, people that want to corss over to somthing else in a shorter time. it's alot of things that would come from such a small change.

Question what it the time/sp difference with skipping the line/cue?


and I believe that with missiles there is a need/must to train the side tree, because missile damge would be more skill intensive, or do missle launchers get multipliers as well ;)


and is would all but make the Stealth Bomber a caldari only vessel, no Gallente is ging to walk the entire missile tree to get torps for his Stealth bomber.

not that I'm against any of this, though there where several mechanisms in the game to make up for this skipping the line.

It would not be that big of a drastic thing for turrets as they are still bound to their side skills, Motion prediction & Sharpshooter to fill in the requirements of the specializations. Missiles have no such side skill requirement.
