Time limit on redeeming PLEX?

I have a plex that i recieved from a friend signing up a buddy request. I havent actually redeemed it yet but im wondering if there is a limit to how much time i have too redeem it.

Will it stay there forever if i dont redeem it? its safe there.

I believe if you look in the window where gifts are (you need to enlarge it possibly, I'm not at my client right now to double check) you should see an expiration date if there is one.

Personally I would redeem it if I were you and get it in to a station. No matter where it is you could alway activate it from your assets tab.

…and from there you can always reverse-redeem it if you want to make it available from your account management page for some other purpose in the future.
