Been a while since I invented t2 ammo, but it used to be you could use a base item (e.g., dread guristas scourge heavy missile) to improve the probability of invention success).

I can't find anything that says that has changed, but I also can't figure out in the new invention screen, how to add a base item. I see where to add decryptors, but not base items.

Could someone either let me know if base items are no longer used, or if they are still used, how I add one to the process.

No longer used. Teams replaced that mechanism for a bit but then those were removed as well.

OK, thanks. The eveuniversity wiki still mentions base items, and it was supposedly updated January 2015, so that's what was confusing me: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Invention_101
