Stop trying to figure out new ways of squeezing cash out of the eve community..

Instead start making the game more interesting, addictive, attractive and FUN to the new and existing players or eve will die very soon = with its current stagment player base along with its attitude to new players 'We don't need players like you anyways your not clever enough'..

Lets face it we are almost in 2012 not 2001 new great gaming technologies & games coming out, just so you know I love EVE i don't want it to die :(

BUT Seriously CCP pull your finger out! FIX null sec, faction warfare, ship balances and as well as add new content and i don't mean the stupid NEX store items.. EvE will meet its match soon, just be prepared for that time CCP! because when it comes at the games present state, this game will crash and burn QUICK and no new expansions will fix it! .

And finally in all honestly I believe that your Dust and your version of walking in stations ain't going to cut it for today's technology and gaming!

Anyways happy Christmas all

EDIT:

CCP you are capable of making this game ******* amazing! look what you did in 3 months for crucible now stop wasting your time and get s-h-i-t done!

Well sir null sec in its current state is driving lots of long time players to empire or quit.
And if they do go empire they create griefer corps which results in new players quit.

Macro bots also make up a large portion of the eve online statistics,
When the fonts changed all the macros broke did you see how many were online then lol?

I can hear you.
But Null, by its very essence is player driven.
So Null Overlords broke their toys and now they want CCP to fix it Shocked
It will sort itself out, if not CCP will certainly do something. Some ninja disband of all alliances and reset standing is quick fix.

This.
They want to play God but they don't want to be accountable for all the priests when the Altar boys grow up.

I too have often wondered just how far CCP will go in letting others run thier game in the name of Sandbox. The question is yet to be answered.

CCP has tons of content. missions, minning, story arcs, Faction Warfare, PI, Null, Incursions, and much much more. the problems is not the content but the execution. Once that is ironed out EVE will be the poster child of MMO's

EVE is about the player, if EVE seems inadequate - you are inadequate.

1. It's Christmas time, everyone at CCP is with their families.

2. I haven't seen anything reminiscent of the Incarna-days CCP, what are you talking about?

3. Eve isn't dying.

LOL you know what I love? The irony of 0.0 space being dead and I'm not talking about the irony the 0.0 loyalists trumpet either.

0.0 is dead because the players killed it, what happens when you go into 0.0 space? You have people gatecamping nearly 24/7, I once tried going into 0.0 space for the lulz in a noob ship and I died about 3 times before I gave up traveling around it, I tried again at around 3:00am or so thinking "There couldn't possibly be people camping at THIS hour even if it is EVE" and you know what? I got ganked by gate campers again.

If CCP gave players more options of getting past afk gate campers that would certainly make 0.0 a lot more lively and small corporations would have a better chance. I think making bombs or Cynosural fields more widely available would go a long way making it so that players that try to enter 0.0 have a fighting chance, but as it stands for most people going into 0.0 space is like going up against CONCORD with just a pod, you may as well eject the ship and just leave it there for them to collect but even then the wankers will still blow up your pod just to try and make you rage.

I hope this puts things into a more realistic perspective for people who attack players of this game who have legitimate criticisms of 0.0 space, I can't remember which username said this but it describes it perfectly, stargates as they are now are essentially chokepoints, they aren't just ways to enter the system so anyone who controls said chokepoint automatically wins and because of local the gatecampers can just run away and log off if a superior force comes along.

p.s. You 0.0 people not only have no lives, but you're sad nerds even amongst us nerds who enjoy gaming

Um... considering the only way to "win" nullsec is by "breaking it" is not the players fault. Players will take full advantages of the resources available. It's like saying "it's up to the fire to decide how it burns, not the gasoline poured all over." And in this case, gameplay in nullsec favors stagnation. In EVE, stagnation means your alliance leaders can fund their mortgages through RMT. Stagnation should mean your alliance will fall apart quickly and painfully. That is what is wrong with nullsec, that is what is wrong with EVE. That is what is wrong with CCP. But now that "stagnation" is treated as a game feature, I worry it might be disastrous to remove it. We might have an Old Yeller dilemma.

So 0.0 is dead, but you couldn't even step foot into it due to it actively being defended.... gotcha.

Furthermore I'm shocked and appalled that you weren't able to break the camp by yourself in a noob ship.

Nullsec is totally stagnating at the moment. Which is clearly shown by White Noise. just owning their space peacefully.
