In the aftermath of a recent destruction of two Custom Offices registered to I-RAT in AK-QBU, baseliner refugees have gathered in the system. One hour ago, one specific rescue vessel (EU-662883) lost contact to the operation command. This specific vessel transports a Jordan Kaine among other refugees. For reasons unknown the man took over and sent a radio broadcast to Operation Command. He claimed that the evacuation vessel had become separated from the escort group during a massive pirate attack. Details are unknown. Jordan Kaine demanded backup sent to JH-M2W. As a means of exerting pressure on evacuation command he claimed to be a survivor and wittness of the Killing Fields incident connected to his former employee I-RED. He considers himself a priority asset in regard to space evacuation doctrine, due to his possible status as a wittness involved in capital crime.

Jordan Kaine is supposed to be in a rescue vessel right now, together with 23 other refugees. The last known contact was one hour ago in JH-M2W. He requested alternative routes to avoid hot combat areas. Evacuation command suggested to either try to reach Conomette or Reblier. It is not known, which route the evacuation vessel actually took.

Me and my evacuation group are under attack and no longer capable to continue the pursuit. I ask everyone within reach to attempt localization and safeguarding of the evacuation vessel or its wreckage. Its callsign is EU-662883. Hostiles must be expected. Channel SYY.99 is open for operational coordination.

The people in question have already been rescued and extracted from Syndicate space at around 21:00 yesterday.

Edit: Sorry for the short post earlier I've been quite busy today.

After the initial request was posted here, several capsuleers formed up on their own and headed towards Syndicate. Using the channel mentioned above for coordinating the various capsuleers were able to scan down a signature with the 'EU-662883' tag in the EZA system near EZA IV - moon 13. Esil Skor and Jasmin Soulscream burned their way to the signature from the moon and within minutes we were on top of what seemed to be a heavily damaged escape pod.

After discussing the best ways to get inside the escape pod, which happened to be locked, we managed to finally spring it open and free four refugees, one of which is confirmed as Jordan Kaine. There seems to have been an incident aboard the escape pod and two of the refugees were in critical condition.

All refugees were safely handed over to Jandice Ymladris at an Arcology in Masalle for further care and safekeeping. Due to the supposed status and importance of Mr. Kaine, it was determined that the best course of action was not to hand him over to I-RED personnel.

Mr. Revenent, I do believe the Caldari use a particular word of address that is formal, however i am not sure if this is for Caldari to Caldari only.. So i will refrane until i know, but if i may, judging the situation of current, it may be best to have the survivors in a joint custody, so that no one can accuse either party of anything, just a thought, but it never hurts to, as you would say, cover all of ones bases, i am sure there are things i do not understand, after all, i am just a cadet of the Imperial Academy, so i will not attempt to tell you how to do your work, but what ever you choose, i pray it works in you favor and all this is proven false, plese, fly safe Mr. Revenent
