So I'm sitting in my usual system going through all the junk I've accumulated in my life as a pilot when the eve mail indicator decides to start flashing. Expecting some mail from some old com padres I open up to my surprise to be some man claiming to be an Accounts Manager of Amarr and that apparently his client left some form of an investment and suffered in some sort of accident which left him with unclaimed treasury bills. He of course goes on to tell his story and claims that he can attach your name to the funds as it will be claimed by the government, etc. And of course the good part is the enclosing deal of simply sending off 100 million Isk along with your name, sex, and solar system you reside in. In all honesty this gave me too much of a good laugh not to pass a chance on posting it up on here and maybe perhaps a bit of a warning for the younglings, not that I think they'd have 100 million Isk lying around.

(P.S. I wish I could post up the original eve-mail with appropriate edits it honestly made me lol hard, but until a mod gives me a sign painted with a rubber ducky I'm sticking to this.)

I once helped this kenyan get to hawaii he said he would pay me 100million USD. Apparently he is some big somebody and i've still got no money.

Well, I was tempted to reply the evemail stating that I was some sort of Minmatar Tribal prince who was destitute of my heritage due to an political scandal of sorts and that if he put my name on that list I could reacquire the funds that rightfully belong to me along with offering him an handsome payout for doing so.

at least it's more original/entertaining that the 'I will double any isk you send me' scams and such...

I use to get these emails in RL all the time, back in 2004ish.

I would reply to them and run them along for days, maybe even a week or two. It was funny seeing them start using the fictional names that I made up for people and places.

Eventually they would find out that I'm ****ing around and place me on their block lists.

I did the same.

The young girl from Mozambique was overcome by my wit and charm.

Gradually over time she feel deeply in love with me.

I had erected my unicorn powered shield to numb my feelings so I was able to resist falling for her.

She seemed impressed with the naked pictures I sent over the internet.

Then I ceased communication and broke her heart.

If he is claiming to be part of the Amarr faction, as in an npc, you can petition him.
