I never said it was "perfect how it happens", im saying stop crying, it wont help, it wont get the server back online.

Running a giant mainframe like CCP does, is no joke and is very complicated.
People complaining about extended downtime, to try and fix stability issues, are a class a example of "I know nothing, but i sure as hell am not gonna admit it" douchebags imho.

Things break, especially software, and especially when you keep updating it and changing the code.
Deal with it, theres nothing we can do about it, and its not really gotten to the point where its "gamebreaking" yet. We are talking a few hours more downtime, over a couple of days.

If you cant live with that, im afraid you might have bigger issues then you care to admit.

Hopefully you get the new cup holders around the servers installed without extending DT to 1450.

Better then the bad old days. The server would crash, you would wait and wait then it would be up for a while then crash again.
Better yet when they would push a patch or an update the call of the day would be hope you have a long skill training! Now with the skill que whats to worry? kick back and be glad these arent the bad old daysLol

Thanks for making sure that the server runs well. I'd rather not have it crash during a big fight... Nobody likes to read crash reports. Smile

Fully understand both sides of this. Yes there is important maintenance I'm sure and we would all like a little downtime rather than hours or days.

However, saying that, there should be a little compensation for it being four days in a row now. Maybe some isk? Maybe another ingame item (one that isn't a useless one).

again extended downtime, yes we should be compensated but most likely we won't, at this point I just hope that we can logon at 13.00 hrs and that tomorrow there is a normal downtime.. altough Big smile seems the extended downtime is starting to be normal.

If it will takes longer then 13.00 hrs I suggest for those who needs the fix of adiction to logon to the test server, make a new character and test the new player experience.

the more we test the less bugs we get so less extended downtime.

Hope CCP is doing the best they can to fix issues and not sit with a coffee reading a lot of moaning about this and have a laugh.

CCP extended trial time from 14 days to 30 days just to compensate for extended downtimes; can we have PLEX for 45 days instead of 30? Lol

Yeah we need downtimes and yes sometimes you need to extend them but you knew this more than 30 seconds before the downtime.
Thank you for the great game and all the work you put in but seriously, give us a heads up a bit earlier Idea

Im not complaining, look at my first 3 posts, haha! I am down for this fix the server and that, i do think is is bull that it is always Australia that takes the hit, but meh
