11am DT is mainly for refreshing asteroid belts, otherwise there would be nothing to mine anymore, and i like that they do it like this and dont mess about with 8 hour downtimes like wow did, you should all be happy with the service you get and fact there is no lag issues on server really, be appreciative of what you get and don't complain when they try to make your life better.

So.... I dont quite get your comparison, but thats irrelevant.
I never said it was "perfect how it happens", im saying stop crying, it wont help, it wont get the server back online.

Running a giant mainframe like CCP does, is no joke and is very complicated.
People complaining about extended downtime, to try and fix stability issues, are a class a example of "I know nothing, but i sure as hell am not gonna admit it" douchebags imho.

Things break, especially software, and especially when you keep updating it and changing the code.
Deal with it, theres nothing we can do about it, and its not really gotten to the point where its "gamebreaking" yet. We are talking a few hours more downtime, over a couple of days.

If you cant live with that, im afraid you might have bigger issues then you care to admit.

A life is best lived, to not step into your grave in a well preserved body. Instead, to slide in side ways, all battered and bruised, screamming, "Holy SH**! What a ride!"

So... For the 3rd night in a row, the Aussie Timezone doesn't get to play in it's prime time...

On top of the normal downtime in our primetime...

So, extra SP or a free months play for this timezone. Which is it, CCP?

If they gave you one, the layover would be 6 days long. They would let you know as you exited the gate.

I just want to show my support of CCP and all their hard work. Compared to other games I've played, downtime in EVE is actually quite little and on the occasions, like now, when there is a bit more, it's not a big deal. I know they are working hard to fix any problems and make the game a great experience for us all. Thanks guys for all your hard work and for wading through the crap load of whine!

this is crazy no notice and no compensation 4 extended downtime's in a row been with you guys for almost 7 years but this even bakes my cookie.
