Is this "Flagship" thread meant to coincide with the release of the Homeworld Remastered Collection today? The concept of 1 ship that is bigger and better than any other will simply never hold true in EVE... unless CCP award a 1 of a kind pirate Titan to alliance tournament winners one year Pirate

So encourage the flagship to be a unique ship in terms of fleet composition

That would be the greatest troll move CCP could pull off... giving someone the most powerful ship in all of EVE, one which ensures they can never log that character in again.

I actually entertained that idea with CCP. A one time payment for $150k usd for a Super Titan that had 16 XL guns, 32 large, 64 mediums, and 128 smells. It could also launch drones, fighters, and fighter bombers and had 16 high medium and low slots and also used two DDs, one standard and one of the AOE originals. The overall consensus with the community was "sure why not? You would blap a few dozen or hundred ships but then PL and Goons would hit drop a death fleet on you and poof goes a $150,000 ship."

Agreed, but first remove interceptors.

Take drones out of the game too.
