The server goes down, and all those that would be getting their schadenfreude from eve are trying to get it from the eve forums instead. Quite an interesting fan base this game has. Please stop feeding the trolls.

And thank you for the many updates, CCP. Not many companies communicate with their patrons so well. I'm sure you are already aware be a friendly reminder that the majority of people that want to play eve during server downtime do not come to the forums to complain.

I, for one, would rather have downtime than a glitchy game and I understand that a little downtime now can save us from a larger downtime later.

Asking for a PLEX is probably too much, but asking for regaining the time lost due to downtime doesn't seem unreasonable at all.

I don't see the problem in asking the gametime that has been lost, I'm not surely asking for a PLEX!
I know EVE devs are working hard on this and I appreciate it, but I also know EVE isn't a free game, so you're paying every single minute of it, asking to have that (and only that) time back doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

You agreed to this when you accepted the EULA. To expect compensation is unfounded. You gave up any "right" to compensation for this type of thing.

In fact, in past cases where access to the game has been significantly interrupted, CCP has taken care of everyone with some form of compensation, not that they had to.



You understand that accepting that it can occur doesn't mean you aren't supposed to get a compensation for that?
Heck I get compensations even from free games such as Warthunder, Word of Tanks, Robocraft, Star Conflict and so on...and I've never needed to ask for them. They simply do it because it is right.
They won't file bankrupcy since they're rich as hell, and they're giving away just game time...which is virtual and free to deliver, no loss on their side.

U.S. Player and have been waiting since restart and keeping up on the posts. I see a lot of rage over the time it is taking the servers to come back online. No reason for the rage posts. CCP is doing what they can to get things up and running. Nothing is perfect. Maybe it is time for you ragers to actually get up out of your chair and take a shower or even go outside for some real air. To CCP. Keep up the good work and i hope you do find the problem soon. Maybe the on switch? J / K, or am I? lol. See you all in the universe. o/
