3 days in a row of 2+ hour downtimes, right in the middle of AU prime. Give us a rolling TZ downtime so it's not always the Aussies that get shafted. At the very least give us some updates as to what's happening and why via Twitter . We're coming up on 3 hours of downtime so far tonight, and it's been 2 hours since the last update on twitter. We can understand that issues crop up sometimes, but it's always us that get screwed and we don't even get timely updates on when we can expect EvE back.

I have this feeling, that we are all in the same boat here!

Dont really think CCP has a grudge against you.... But then again! Who knows???

Problem is that there are only like 4 Australian players in all of EVE, and one of them works night and plays EVE during the EUTZ Twisted

I don't think CCP has a grudge, but obviously for them AUTZ is the least important timezone. It makes sense because there's obviously less players in AU than others, less people inconvenienced by downtimes, but I need EvE to distract me from the dropbears...

Central US TZ player here. I work graveyard shift so DT hits me hard, right in my drinking and doing dastardly deeds in EVE time.
I get shafted by this too.
Am I cryin? No... I used to play EQ1 and as such even the extended downtimes of EVE strike me as super short.
Am I happy about them? No, this is interfering with my ship exploding time.
It does not interfere with my drinking time, however.
It's a race! Will the servers come back up before I'm too drunk to make good decisions regarding target selection, cap micromanagement, and which loot to scoop before the angry master of the house comes back to reclaim what's left of his smoking wreck?

Patience. Good humor. Anticipation of violence makes it all that much sweeter when it finally happens.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Sorry, having been a member of several online games in the past decade. AU/NZ are statistically irrelevant and we are privileged to pay full price for 200ms-1000ms lag in primarily US server based games. Big smile
