The Merchant Marine's is seeking new bros to join our forces.

We know and fully understand that joining a corp. is always a decision that we all attempt to make carefully so let me tell you a bit about us.

First, we welcome all players including new players who meet our requirements.

Our core members are veteran players from all over the world including former and active duty military personnel.

We have re-created our corp. from the original corp, "The Merchant Marines." We are now, "The Merchant Marine's" and continue to maintain our wide network of in-game contacts. The former corp. is almost as old as EVE itself. We are a 0.0 (Null Sec) corporation and have full access to 0.0 space.

We are a member of TEST Alliance Please Ignore .

We understand that one of the greatest challenges for new players is the very wide learning curve between the veteran and the new players. This is where we can help you. We have much to offer and hopefully you something to offer us.

We value our members as individuals first and attempt to ensure that their game play experience is fun! Our primary expectation is that our members strive to be a team player and team oriented. This is critical for the many OPS that we conduct. There is always plenty of time for individual pursuits apart from corp OPS.

Upon returning to EVE after a long hiatus of many years I was greeted by a man in game who called himself Hannibal Hayes, he is a recruitment officer for the marines. Hannibal contacted me while I was still in the tutorial stages and as green as they come but we had a long chat and eventually I was invited to join the corporation he was a part of. We spoke about direction, goals and experiences as well as my horrible experiences with past corporations and how they expect you to be on to mine 3 hours for them or donate P.I to keep P.O.S’s going etc. He assured me that the Marine’s are nothing like that and your only contribution is yourself. That was 8 months ago and the marine’s are still my first and only corp.

Don’t just take my word for it, join up and see what a team based corporation can do for you... and your wallet.

I Joined EVE online last july when steam had it on sale, I had wanted to play for years but feared the learning curve. I met LT Jesse James and Menar Mordicant 2 of the officers in the Marines while still doing the training missions. They help and took me under their wing ans showed me the glory that can be had playing Eve and to not view the learning curve but to embrace it . By september I was down in Nul-Sec and enjoying every minute here. The Corp focuses on teamwork, Respect and Honor. So please come fly For the The Merchant Marine's , you will be welcomed.

This has been my home in EVE online since i first started playing 11 years ago or so. Many people came and went but always found this corp to be a good hearted, hard working group of people. Be their focus in the game what it may they always find their place in the corp with friends and support.

The Merchant Marine's is not a corp full of conflict and arguments, but one of harmony and fun.

I've only been in the corp for a month or maybe to. Been playing ever since 2010. Good corporations and good leaders are hard to come by these days. I feel lucky to have found a new home with The Merchant Marines. I felt at home right away.
