maybe, it is a pretty boring mechanic imo. then again it gives nubs something to do, and some special things like officer spawns are tied to ratting.

Well if they remove bounties entirely, you'd be taking out 60% of isk income. And the sinks would become higher than the faucets, meaning no new isk would be entering the economy. Sure, some of the bounties (from nullsec ratters) would move to highsec missions or whatever. But how many people would be able to fund their habits without bounties? And for how long, with less isk being in the system every day? (numbers are based on some 4-5 year old blog post on beyond reality)

if ratting is removed then you lose basicly the only way to make isk to afford any new ships, equipment, ammo, modules.
even if you do become independent of the market system you still need blueprints that cost isk.
industry would end up having the last of the isk, prices would go up, and large groups would have to work together with miner support and miners would be staring hours at rocks for nothing.
Large groups of gankers would coordinate, picking targets and forcing people out of the game.
Eve would die with out pilots.

unless like other games we become a 0 loss game like others

What if isk is removed?

Think about it.
