So Anshars have been selling for under manufacturing+invention cost for a few weeks now (while you could turn a bil+ profit manufacturing other JFs) but the supplies are drying up and the price is rising. I think as oxytopes go down, people will be getting back into Anshars and the price will rise further and also due to likely manufacturing shortage the supply will be low for the next month (nobody in sane mind would start building an Anshar during the past month). Not to mention that other JFs are quite expensive right now.

6.4b Anshars in a week?

The gallente towers everyone stopped using and firesold are wildly under production cost too. Shh. Don't tell anyone.

Ah wow these cannot be reprocessed.. Didn't know this :) Makes sense then. I was wondering why reprocessing arbitrage didn't pick up the slack. Manufacturing cost looks like 240m at buy prices and these are selling at 221.

CCP made towers (and all PI-built stuff) non-reprocessable right after tyrannis release, when people bought thousands of structures from NPC orders and reprocessed into P4 before PI was even released.

Since it only took 3 or so weeks for most JF pilots I know to crosstrain to a different racial JF, I think this will probably depress the value of the Anshar for a long time to come.
Until Oxytope prices are cheaper than other topes, most JF pilots won't bother switching back (the Anshar was popular b/c everyone flies the Obelisk, the Obi is popular b/c the Itty V).

If you crosstrained to the Rhea, you now have more capacity per jump, if you crosstrained to the Nomad you now spend less fuel per m3, if you crosstrained Amarr JF (don't remember the name) you now have a pretty ship. There's no real reason for switching back.

Oh yeah, nobody will be switching back for sure, but all the pilots with Iteron V skills will still be getting Anshars.
The daily sell volume on Anshars is higher than on all other freighters combined.

My weird memory aid: Amarr freighter looks like a capsized boat -> Noah's Ark was a freighter and a boat -> Ark!

Now if I only had a memory aid to spell Nidhoggur.

That's an amazing memory aid. It makes me almost want to train Amarr Freighter.
