Hi, i've erected a POS and i have over 100 turrets via 6 clusters placed around the pos however when i go to online the structures via the pos tower i have to manually aim my camera at the cluster i want to start onlining and then slowly cycle down the list in the pos management screen until the turrets i want to online highlight in space.

This is an incredibly long and inefficient process and was wondering if there was a faster better way of doing it. Not to mention the amount of time lost trying to online clusters closest to threats attacking the pos.

If not some initial ideas that come to mind, is to have either the ability to name turrets, or the ability to group turrets and other defensive batteries together to meet defensive setups a player might have for their POS....... like me Lol

Welcome to the world of player owned stuff :) Try again in 2013?

Edit:
Sorry I lost some hopes about POS so I started being sarcastic. Eve changed me I guess.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Does it really matter? I thought turret calculate distance from the POS, not from where it is...

They do, but putting guns on multiple facings means the attackers can't just park in a single spot and be in range .

My old post about easy large POS layout (post #262 and #263):

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=817184&page=9#262

It looks complex, but it has been field tested with a POS rookie, and he found it easy as he just had to follow the instructions and count cube steps. Easier to do than to just read.

The first 84 modules are easy. It gets harder after that (more diagonal movements to deal with), but I shoved another 6 modules in around the middle on diagonals and still kept everything spread out.
