Ok So I've done something pretty stupid and now I am in minus isk.

I realise what I did is against the rules and will not be doing that again. I am glad I have not been banned, don't get me wrong but I am pretty much unable to play the game now?

I have 0 combat skills and 0 combat ships, I can mine but I can't sell anything on the market to get back into positive equity in my wallet. I can not even trade with a player to sell items that way.

In this situation, what is a player supposed to do?

By asking players to simply give me isk? I wouldn't want to do that, it's not a "career" path I would want to follow in New Eden...

Start over

Or make an alt, have it make a corp (since making a corp requires money you need the alt to do this with its untainted wallet), make your main the CEO and give it a 100% tax and live out of your corp wallet....

And next time sell a PLEX. You look doubly stupid cause PLEXes allow legal ISK buying.

Join corp with a friend.

Put stuff you mine in corp hangar, have friend sell and transfer you isk.

I have to ask though. If you aren't combat why the hell were you buying isk?

I didn't need the isk as such, I didn't have enough isk to PLEX my account.

Using a corp hangar to move my items sounds like a good idea, as I dont fancy starting a new character!

I'm confuzzed, surely your charecter starts with 'Racial Frigate' to start with.

Also how did you get into minus isk anyhow...

And click selling 'simple' doesn't cost anything does it , 'advanced' does.

I no longer have the starter frigate, I could leave station in a pod and get the civilian ship back but my god, killing rats in that to get back into positive would take forever.

I broke the EULA, and they took off the value amount out of my wallet.

Even to sell an item or trade an item with a player you MUST have a balance of at least 0. It's a pretty silly mechanic actually.

Get out your credit card and buy GTC from CCP, then sell those GTC on the forums via secure transactions.

The bonus: CCP will be happy to keep you as a customer.

Petition it. will the GM acted in all good faith having a negative balance seriously affects the continued viability of your account.

Admit your mistake, accept your punishment but object to the fact your account has been left 'unusable' because of an oversight in CCP's punitive actions.

All the best hope you can sort it out.

And out of interest how 'negative' are you? a quick 'loan' from a friend might sort it out.

Pretty much. Or you could try running one of the first legitimate PLEX spams in JITA Lol

I hear what you are saying, but if somebody wittingly breaks the EULA I'd sincerely hope a GM does not cut them an ounce of slack. I understand the OP is repenting his/her evil ways; but really? The negative ISK is what happens when you do something naughty. Thankfully it wasn't a ban.

Was it botting?

Can you buy a GTC with real cash and sell it via the forum to give the char enough ISK to go positive?

Eve Forums Timecode Bazarr

Or create an alt to sell your stuff you mine.

Train different skills and work your way up. Not that complicated of a process. Yes it may not be your preffered method of making the isk back, but that could be part of the punishment Blink It is CCp we are talking about.

I understand your arguement Ai but I believe it is oversight on CCP's part. It ISNT a valid game mechanic that is now causing the problem, to be in negative isk shouldn't prevent you from selling things. It was never programmed that way with the intent of further punishing a transgresor.

I don't blame CCP because why would anyone expect you to have negative isk, so the routines where never built to handle the situation.

I believe the extra punishment of being stuck like this was unitentional and not intended as part of the punitve action.

Therefore in all good faith I think 'God Mod' should be used to reset the accounts balance to zero. Should CCP wish to further persue the difffence at a future time I believe that is down to them.

I actually think that not being able to sell stuff when you have a negative wallet balance is a bug and should be bug reported. After all a fast way to recover is to use real money to buy a PLEX which you then sell in game for ISK. But that's harder if you cannot sell in game. You got to use the GTC secure transactions system.
