I just try diferent options and try to choose characteristic look, different than others, making fairly original character is it male or female avatar. Like this Brutor female. Sometimes I have very strict image in my head and want to create it in eve. Like this.

I have only 1 female character, I don't like playing them, dunno why.

The one I do have though, has huge balloons a pretty face a big ass and revealing clothing..... you have a guess what its purpose is.










Hint: Numbers have shown that guys in MMO's tend to treat female characters...... how shall I say this.... differently :P

Aiyshimin had a backstory and personality (yeah, RP stuff from when I started playing, I actually thought this was an MMORPG) before I made the portrait, so I wanted it to look like her, which turned out great.

However, I've also made one to look like an ex (it's spot on and I had to add a tattoo on her face to make it less so :D), one general fantasy femme and one to look like my wife, which failed miserably and doesn't do her gorgeousness any justice. Oh and one that attempts to portray a mystical goddess.

Sshhh but I remapped my this char to look like an ex.

However my wife looks like one of my other chars

My other char is Jove Eden Big smile

Depends on what character and for what purpose, with this one, I just decided to take an oriental looking avatar and make it as caucasian as possible for my own amusement, see how far the character creation mechanics could be pushed.

For my high sec alt, I resculpted her to look warmer, more friendly and open to the public I was trying to talk with as a CSM candidate.

In other places, I made them look a female version of myself out of curiousity.

Oh and I tend to avoid male AVs, they usually look ... too macho, like sports jocks that have nothing to say for themselves. In EVE's case they are usually too serious and brooding looking, like a bunch of depressives.

All brooding sports jocks? I don't know. In this game and on these forums I've seen plenty of comedy male avatars.Oops Even some "fabulous" male avatars, that definitely have a flaming sense of humor.P But I would agree it's usually more fun to sculpt a female avatar.Pirate

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
