Unfortunately because your EVE account is a Steam Linked account you can only login through your Steam account. This means that you will unfortunately have to wait until we have this issue resolved. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I am having the same issue with the same varied behavior from launcher (offline mode, white box, etc...) I also tried to start game from \CCP\EVE\bin\exefile.exe and get a connection failed message. This same behavior is duplicated on two different computers. I tried repair, it gave an error message. I also tried reinstallling the launcher without resolving the problem.

The third party program EVEMon is connecting.

It would appear that we've pinpointed the issue with one of our providers, and have resolved the problem.

Your launchers may need a little time to recover, and may need their cache clearing for connectivity to be restored.

To clear your cache, start the launcher and click the little "settings" gear in the top right. Select the "cache" tab and clear it using the buttons within that tab.

Apologies for the issues with connectivity tonight, the issie should now be resolved.

Hmm, I'm also still not able to get the launcher to work. It seemed to work for a sec, the launcher was loading and not just completely blank or giving me errors. Only after I tried switching to my second account that the problem occured again..

Up and running without the cache clearing. Anyone still having issues, give it a bit..it's coming back.

Random disconnections with 1 of 3 accounts in the last 15 minutes, happened 3 times. It's weird since the other clients doesn't disconnect...

Hope you guys solve this ASAP.

For those that are still unable to connect please try the following.

1. Delete the Launcher folder which can be found in your EVE Online client folder.
2. Download the launcher installer from the following URL:

http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_2_859950.exe

3. Once downloaded can you run the .exe file and direct the launcher to your client installation when prompted.
4. Once the launcher installation is complete can you start the launcher using the 'EVE Online Launcher' link which can be found in your clients folder.

Dear Mr. Falcon,

First, Thank you. I returned from the store, with the name that we will not mention, which tries to suck our very souls from us, and found that I was now able to log into the game. My night has been saved. The rocks can all now be killed. I thank you and the team working so hard to get things back online.

I would like for thank those that keep the forums free from drama for the hard work that they do. I do wish that they would look a little closer at the guidelines and see the definition of a troll CCP provides at times but I appreciate that there is a fine line to walk. Thank you again for your service.

And Mr Falcon, I really was serious about the pink and purple hulk with sparkles that shoots glitter out the back as it dashes across the sky. Now that everyone is online again, if you get a chance to look into it, you would be such a sweetheart!

I had this problem most of the afternoon, but after a call to Verizon FiOS tech support it is now resolved.

I too ran a tracert and found that I could connect to ccp servers, and had to check this forum on my mobile device. Verizon FiOS had me reset my modem to factory default, and that fixed the problem straight away. Maybe it was a DNS issue in the router and this forced a reload? I'm not sure, but as spontaneously as it stopped working, this reset fixed the problem.

I guess if you haven't tried this, maybe give it a shot. I would back up your router settings like wifi network name/password in advance because you will have to reprogram it otherwise.
