Chemtrails in New Eden?

So for a while now, I've noticed that all of our ships seem to emit these odd trails from their engines. They all seem to vary depending on the race who constructed the vessel. I'm at least fairly certain that these are not just some natural phenomenon that occurs. They seem to be some sort of malicious spraying system, though the question remains: what in the world are they making us spray? And why are we spraying it? This has to be stopped.

The above is an example of what I am talking about. The trails seem to be more obvious with faster, smaller vessels (cruisers and below). Could it be that these vessels are better platforms for chemtrail delivery? Could it be that because these ships move faster, they spread the chemtrails easier?

I'm just asking questions guys. You should all be concerned about this too.

It's taken you a while to notice, or you stared rapt at them for "a while" until you came to your senses and realized you're an über polluter? It's vaporized sugar. The different colors are a result of different vaporizing tech. The idea is to lure large ants into space. So, you can see it's ecologically sound. Er...is deep space an eco-system?

EDIT: Oh yes. The guys in the black helicopters are coming after you for this.

They are called contrails, not chemtrails. Get it right, failed conspiracy theorist.

When I finally do make an impact on this universe, it will reverberate across the entirety of it, and no one will be able to truthfully claim they don't know me. - -

I always figured it was reactor coolant exhaust. Since if it was real thrust our ships would.... well be totally unbalanced. But reactor coolant venting makes sense, and using the warp field as a reaction-less drive also makes sense.

I assumed it was burning methane from the sheer volume of gas i'd be releasing/producing.

I mean really I'm an immortal pod pilot... I'm gonna eat whatever the F i feel like - lactose intolerance be damned.

Now who wants to float in an encapsulated pod of that... no me... hence I vent to space and ignite.

So guess in a way you can say i'm burning a "pollutant" .

I would definately be very worried if us capsuleers lived in vacuum. But we don't so I'm not.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Rainbow trails are only available from the Unicorns that fart them. So possibly an Ishkur with a bad case of gas...

venting coolant makes 0 sense, you'd end up running out and having a melt down ie a self destruct with out pushing the big red "don't push" button
