Good day ladies and gentlemen, R1 here.

This thread is going to focus on EVE updates presented in my YouTube channel Ranger 1 Presents.

Whenever I have a episode that is devoted to EVE Online, in part or in whole, I'll put a post with a handy link in this thread.

For your convenience here is a link to my latest video:

There is a timestamp that takes you directly to the EVE Online portion of the episode in the video description, although you may find other gaming information of interest in the rest of the video.

If you wish a little more information I will have a full post for each video as well, which will also serve to refresh the thread.

EVE Online, Rhea Progressing: Virtual Realms Episode 7

The Rhea release for EVE Online is partially up for testing, so I took a peek at some of the new hulls and animations in development. While most things are still incomplete, everything looks excellent with their new lighting effects in place. Be aware that the state of things is subject to change on a daily basis.

I have also included the new trailer that is out "This Is EVE", which is quite possibly the best trailer CCP has ever produced for the game... for a number of reasons. Be aware that there are a couple of F bombs dropped here and there as all of the dialogue in the trailer are actual player exchanges captured while they were playing the game.

EVE Online, Rhea Hull Animations: Virtual Realms Episode 8

The Mighty Bowhead is done, so it's time to take a look at the multitude of new hulls and their accompanying animations that are heading our way on December 9th in the Rhea update for EVE Online.

Covering the Moa variants, the Blackbird variants, the Incursus variants, the Confessor Tech 3 Destroyer, and the might Bowhead (yes, it has an animation as well).

EVE Online, Proteus Release: CHANGES INBOUND

Proteus has always symbolized the changing nature of the sea, and the Proteus expansion for EVE Online will be bringing quite a few changes to the face of the EVE universe.

Environmental changes to the asteroid belts, new mining anomalies in the starter systems, controversial Recon vessel buffs, and a new hull and animation for the Exequror line of cruisers.

Plus a bevy of other changes and fixes.

Update: I also cover the hull animation of the Naga. I had missed that it had been slipped in with the Rhea update (although they broke part of the ships animation). Still, it's all fixed now and since I didn't cover it before it's just as well to show it off now.

Virtual Realms Episode 9

This episode contains a huge amount of info on upcoming releases for various games, including speculation on the upcoming Sylla release as well as information on upcoming player events for EVE Online.

There is also some very exciting news about future content that will be appearing in the channel. Be sure to watch for the reveal... errr, I mean "hint"... at the very end.
