Serpentis escalation went to final site and the faction frigates wreck was completely empty.

Is that supposed to happen? I have never, ever, ever (until now) seen a faction wreck be completely empty.

All the previous faction frigs in the "parts" of the escalation had crap loot, but they had loot...it got my hopes up that it kept escalating though :P oh well

Probably been looted by Murphy. No, it's a bit annoying sometimes, especially after several escalations, but the loot (if any) is still random.

IMO there's a difference between 'faction rat' (like those you see at the intermediate expedition phases or in belts) and the 'end rat' (boss or commander or whatever). Normal faction rats almost always drop tag&ammo (but even that is not guaranteed) and those end rats can drop nothing, some junk, tag&ammo and/or shiny stuff. And yeah random is random. :)

Perfectly normal. You were just lucky until now. Or unlucky on this particular expedition. It does not happen that often after all, but always be mentally prepared for frustration when clicking the loot tab. Smile

For maximum efficiency, exploration is best done as a 100% nomad. T3, spare subsystems/modules in cargo, resupply ammo at hubs.

Now when you have escalations that take you errywhere, its not a big deal, just means new ground for you to explore.

What you say makes sense...

I'm sick of this game! I'm quitting and giving all my stuff to the first person to accept the convenient contract i've created to exchange it for one tritanium.
