In a civilized society, it is the ******* job of the police forces, not gung-ho vigilantes, be them Matari basking in their victimhood syndrome or not.

If President Roden really wanted to solve the issue, it would have been better to allocate resources to federal agents instead of encouraging the firearms market to flourish even further in the name of 'freedom'.

Asking the police to prevent violence is a bit like expecting Concord to prevent ganks...
both can only act after the fact.

And you sincerely believe that free weapons and ammo for civilians is going to suddenly solve the issue and make people safe ?

It sure makes big money though.

Don't believe I said that,
The right to self defense though... I've got no question on.

I'm confused, is Roden recklessly giving away free weapons and ammo or is he profiteering from increased weapons sales? Which is it?

Ha, ha. Very clever.

The latter of course.

Indeed, but so most societies allow. Weren't we speaking about the use of deadly force ?

Not being Matari yourself it's possible you do not see what they are facing because it is outside of your personal experience.
Many of the situations faced by Civilian Matari at the hands of those attackers are indeed life and death.

I find it also ironic that A Capsuleer, and graduate of the Federal Navy Academy who knows full well that shooting back is sometimes the only option would take this position.

The FNA is forming military personnel for military situations, not civilians.

I also would rather prefer to believe that our Federation is not a third-word class civilization where everyone can murder or shoot everyone freely like in a lawless region. This is the Federation, not a backwater Minmatar world like Skarkon or an Angel mudball.

If you are referring to what happens in refugee camps or certain Omega cities that have always been forgotten by our political class, then I am afraid that the root of the issue may be found elsewhere.

This is hardly the place for a firearms-control debate, though should either of us ever run for office I'll happily take you up on it.

You will find that none of the doomsday like scenario you suggest has actually happened, wild gangs of Matari are not running around with carte blanche to kill anyone with a dirty look in their faces.

The few incidents there have been have all had due investigation after the fact to deturmin if threat to life did indeed exist.

Far from lawlessness.

I'd recommend to value people not by their appearance, but by their merits.
Roden is a anti-human racist, democrat, individualist, fascist, nationalist and a war criminal. He is an enemy of the whole humanity, and this is because of his actions, not looks or clothes.

Those, who voted for him are accomplices of his crimes against humanity and should share with him punishment for his deeds.
And their punishment should be death.

With all due respect, The Caldari State has about as much say in Federation elections as I do in the content of Ms. Kims lunchbox.

Would be true, if Roden and his muppets won't be putting their tentacles into our affairs, won't be trying to occupy our Caldari Prime, our Black Rise, wouldn't torture our prisoners in their camps, won't send their death squads into our worlds, won't attack our ships in order of our planets, won't crashland capital ships on our worlds.

While gallentes continue to hurt us, we WILL get to them, and if they fail to listen our words, we will make them listen to our guns.
