Trading Corp Questions

Hey MD

I'm debating on the pros and cons of setting up a personal corp strictly for the purpose of station trading.

I currently have 6 traders in various hubs around New Eden. Currently they each have their own wallet and whatnot. So the other day I got to thinking about maybe setting up my own corp so I could share the wallet between all of them, that way I can keep less isk in the wallet than I've been keeping total across all 6 pilots. (I like to ensure I won't run out of isk overnight, etc.)

So I'm just wondering if there is anything bad about doing this? Does the corp need standings as well? Do I need to pay extra taxes on buy/sell orders?

EDIT: I should add I don't move my own items, I pay 3rd party so there is no issue of wardecs.

Thanks for your time.

No(t really), no and no :).

The only thing is war decs, but they're not really a problem, especially if you don't *un*dock.

There is a big advantage which is the delivery system, when your alt buy an item on behalf of your corporation, the item goes into the "Market delivery". A nice thing to do is having one hauler alt being the CEO, the other alts buying items, the hauler alt can access these items directly without having to log on your buyers.

I see you don't move your own items, but it still is a great way to manage stocks

having your excess money in an unused corp wallet is also a nice way to make sure a missclick doesn't suddenly cost you everything
