Thera is for people who don't like the happy optimism of Jita.

So interesting you would say that. I am the procurement officer for my corp and usually reside in Jita.

I have a month vacation and I am using it to seek adventure in Thera wh-space.

I am up over my head with Jita's "happy optimism". You have read me like a book.

I do not as the saying goes, "get out of the office often", which I never dreamed would be a problem when I became a capsuleer.

But I specialize in market transaction so Jita was a good place to apply those skills. But I became a capsuleer for more excitement than that, and now, at long last, with enough isk to replace lost ships, I venture out into the void to fight and no doubt die amongst you all fellow noble pilots of New Eden.

Kindly indulge my questions, I want to learn and experience all I can on this vacation before I am once again tracking target prices and not target vessels that have a lock on me.

I hate Thera personally, mostly for sociological reasons, but putting aside my prejudice I guess it is indeed one of those "must visit" places, at least once in your career. I've been twice and was left generally underwhelmed both times, although it was worth it just to capture a photo to say that I'd docked in a station in Anoikis.

As for adventure, well I'm sure there's plenty of fights to be found there. Depends on whether you plan to go alone or with a fleet of some kind, but I'm guessing the locals usually have the place tied up tighter than a slave during auction, so I really don't know what your prospects for solo-adventure will turn out like unless you're a experienced solo-combat pilot.

Interesting place to visit, but wouldn't wanna live there, sir.

Plenty of opportunity for adventure, solo or otherwise. Make lots of safespots and dock/undock bookmarks, use your head, and generally you'll be okay.
