there is an obvious market bot in Jita,

updating all his orders by the same fix amount, like 123772 isk, later in the day 98433 isk , and so on

a sane human being would not do that because you need to waste a lot of time to calculate , be able to increase all your buy orders by the exactly same random amount.

is it worth to sell him something and report him after? does ccp take care of them or its like in the other online games, if bots pay subscription is allok

You should always report bots.

One thing to bear in mind:
He may be using something which gives him the prices to update to. Like an api driven spreadsheet. If that's the case, it's entirely legitimate. Just copy and pasting.

Report suspected bots. There are, however, a good number of legitimate human behaviours that will appear as false bot positives to the casual observer. For instance whenever I am doing security status repair (a *very* dull task above 0), I will be focusing a lot of attention onto updating each of my orders every 5 minutes and will look like a bot to a casual observer.

Report them all; let CCP sort it out.

When I place multiple orders, I randomize the amount somewhat to hide the fact that all the orders belong to the same person.

Same for the order time: I don't place or update them all at the same time.

You should research a bit into stuff like Mentat, Evernus or Elinor.

I often undercut by a fixed amount because it's easier (most of the times) to retype the number in full than using the wheel. I just don't type the last two digits doing so, to save time.

This essentially, there is no real reason to believe that this is a bot.

yes sure, its not a bot, it's just a human that waste 500% more time copy/pasting and doing calculations to up all his buy orders by random number 324887

coincidence, he stopped

but i will sacrifice few millions profit to find who he is next time he does it.

Yea I use elinor with a random amount because on more active items if you .01 isk others will .1 or 1sk and you have to wait another 5mins to update it.

he does not need to calculate the new price. these softwares can download the prices, read the max/min price and undercut by a fixed customizable amount, and put it into buffer already. all they have to do is right-click/change order and ctrl-v to paste the new price.
after isboxing was banned, I am hoping CCP will address this, like all numbers have to be entered manually, no copying and pasting.
