Famaju janku! (May you be happy!)

It occurred to me while speaking amongst pilots that the native languages of the cluster, while many and varied, have become almost entirely supplanted by the common tongue and translation implants. It would be a great loss to lose even one language to underuse. This is why I have decided to begin a series of seminars on just one of these potentially endangered languages, that of my homeland, the island of Lok Umuk in the north of Pator IV. This intriguing language, a subset of Received Sebiestor, is known among my people as Makubka, or the language of the Makub people, a minor tribe amongst the greater Sebiestor. (The makub is a very tall growing species of pine endemic to the island.)

If enough people show interest, these seminars will be held at the conference hall complex in Dappa Wamhads on Lok Umuk, Pator IV.

Saksek wanakkin! (Go with purpose!)
