There used to be a way to travel to an area by setting the way point and then using the suicide option to get to that destination. A number of us used it originally to get from empire to Solitude. Its been so long ago I don't remember the procedure to do it. Any old timers out there remember?

Please rename your thread, people might get the wrong idea. It's called self destructing.

There have been changes. http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/a-new-era-of-clones/

You can pod yourself to your home system still, provided you have set it as your home system. Remotely resetting your deathclone to various systems your corp has an office in has been limited to once per year. Dev Blog.

But can still be accomplished by flying to the station and setting it.

I actually wasn't trying to be a smart ass. I know why you specified and you stated it correctly, I've just seen ignoramuses misconstruing that statement and thinking you can't move it more than once in a year period, when that is not the case.

Nearly had a heart attack. Thanks.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

Came expecting a whine about someone being "triggered" by the possibility to self-destruct/use the Pod Express.

Left.... ah, I will just give it time.

Well, thankfully this thread has turned out a lot differently than expected.

Please rename to "Pod Express" please.

I have a new guy in the corporation that wants to get to Solitude. There's no way he can run the pipeline with his limited skills. So what will he need to be in place before he's able to pod jump the trip.

You have two options.

1. Scout for him so that he can make the trip safely.
2. Have him move his medical clone and pod jump there. This is how the medical clone move has changed with Rhea:

Quote:

Once per year, characters can move their medical clone to either their corp HQ, or any station in which their corporation has an office. This option does not accumulate if it is unused.
For characters less than 30 days old, every time they change corp this counter will reset and they will be able to move their clone again.

Now I'm curious on what the original thread name was.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!
