I'll stick to my PS3 and it's free online services (that occasionally gets hacked) and free to play online games. Like Dust 514...

Just FYI Dust won't be technically F2P. It will still have a $20 initial charge.

Since it's a console game that goes without saying.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious . +1

Also can you be so kind to produce evidence to the $20 initial charge claim?

Dust won't fail. In the same way eve didn't fail. Anyway you don't need to worry about it, judging by your sparkling positive outlook and personality, the only interaction you'll have with dust players is hitting F1 on command above a random planet... if your lucky.

CAN I HAVE EXOTIC DANCERS? (IMPORTANT QUESTION)

We are looking to support this, and maybe even allow you to tip them. but this will probably not happen early on.

So DUSTers will get our exotic dancers and full 3D interact with them and we can only transport them in our cargo???
Give a little love to exotic dancers in EVE too... its too cold in my cargo hold...

I don't want that my exotic dancers love DUSTers more then me...

just implant the orbital strike targeting beacon in the dancer ... it'll all work out in the end. Twisted

This game is looking more and more solid. Just got myself a PS3 so I will most likely be buying this

It won't be the attention span of console players that kills the game, it will be the pissed off PC players who will be indiscriminately orbital striking the dust players to grief them off the game because they don't want to pay for an overpriced piece of plastic crap just to play one game.

Maybe YOU'LL be doing it to make a point about consoles versus PC. I'll be doing it for the sheer joy of knocking holes in a planet.
I may even start an amarr alt to see if I can carve my name in the surface of a planet.

While its not a "official" evidence and I didn't want to look up E3 ****, at least you will have something pretty to look at.

We all like to look at pretty stuff.

I'd rather wait for something official before making a claim.

The E3 **** was just some basic info with a trailer. Nothing official was said about the price.

Sorry to dissappoint bro, but ice plants won't turn yellow when you "carve your name into them" Ugh

So, umm, why exactly is discussion of Dust514 relegated to the backwaters of the forum? Can you at least make a sub forum for Dust if you're going to keep moving topics out of GD?

They stated in an official blog that there would be an initial charge of 20 that also goes towards your own fund as well. Later they might go completely f2p, but at release 20 bucks.

Actually wonder how move is with FPS... I dont follow PS3 all that much. (Aside from uncharted) but I heard killzone with move wasn't bad. Rather how each game implements it.

But you can use a Mouse and keyboard setup with a linux computer translating the six axis blue tooth signals already. But would be nice if there was an official m/kb support on PS3...and it wont cost 60+
