Removal of MWD and other senseless modules

I'm wondering how it would be if we don't have a MWD at all.
How would it affect solo PvP?

If there were not so many fitting options, could it be that people are more willing to take fights,
because they can estimate their opponent better and do not have to expect a too specialized fit
in which the aggressor can dictate wether he want to fight or not?

There are some others:

- MJD
I was always wondering why we must have this???
It just adds the need for another tackler.

- Warp Stabs
fitting limit?

- Ancilary Shield/Armor repair
Do we really need those?

- Scram/Disruptor
I'd love to see those working like other ewar mods - by calculated chance like ECM.

why have 4 weapon systems? in two different variants/system? in 4 different sizes? in 2-3 subsizes/size?

One type should be enough for everyone

Why have different slot layouts? 1 slot for a gun more than enough

Why have different ships?

Starting to see the pattern in here?

You don't need scrams if you got no mwds/mjds and no warpstabs. Durr.

Also, I like the above poster's approach. Ships should have hull bonuses and then you add either a long range gun or a shortrange gun. Can't warp with weapons timer. Perfect. Pointing someone gives that person a weapons timer.

Oh wait.

Positive effects:
- You deny people the right to dock/jump/warp by pointing them with a trial.

The game you are looking for is called pong. 2 wide bars, one small dot bounced between them till its not blocked. It doesn't even have all the power ups on the games that came after it that emulated it (bigger bar power up, multiple balls, or even lasers to shoot stuff). If lack of any variety in fitting is your idea of pvp...this is right up your alley.

Nope, sorry, it's not just this week. Seems that since CCP went on the extreme and nerfed jump drives, the crazies are coming out of the woodwork with their bad ideas.

In order
-Because it is awesome (and adds a new tactical element)

- No, the downside is valid as is...

- Yes, Because they add cool options, in fact we need the rest of the line up for the inferno modules

- Because losing your ship to random chance/Not getting that awesome killmail due to random chance is stupid... If anything i'd like to see ECM become LESS random

I don't know what EVE would be like in any of these what if scenarios. I doubt we ever will know. They won't happen.

I'd like to see an EVE where we made decisions based on experience and not killmail propaganda but yea, that won't happen either.
