Character Transfer to New Account

Hey There all!

So I have an alt character on my account and I'd like to transfer him to a new account on his own. Is there a way to do this short of getting an account paying for it to be an active account and then paying two plex to transfer him?

All of your character transfer questions can probably be answered in this EVElopdia post.

Both accounts must be fully active. They cannot be inactive/suspended, or trial accounts.

You can pay with 2 PLEX, or pay the fee in the currency of your choice. Note that the currency amount is less expensive than if you are first buying 2 PLEX with money. If you can well afford the PLEX in-game with ISK than it may make sense to use the PLEX option.

No way to transfer a character without paying the transfer fee.

But, for creating the new account that will hold the character, you can look into the free trial / buddy program / power of 2 / whatever promotions they have. Buddy program, for example, if it gives you a plex back that may offset your costs.

The good news is that no time is wasted. You start a new account with a 21 day trail (use your main account to send the invite). Then pay or PLEX the new account, that takes it up to 51 days, and you get a free PLEX as a reward on your main account. Then all it costs you is the PLEX to transfer the toon.

The referring account for the Buddy Invite won't be allowed to take a PLEX as the reward if the Buddy account uses a PLEX to go fully active. They could only choose the 30 days of game time or the Catalyst Collection as the reward.

If the referring account wants a PLEX then the Buddy account has to go fully active with paid subscription time.
