Mac Launcher not working since update - thus, no Tiamat

Dear CCP,

since the launcher update the client cannot be started from the launcher but only from the binary itself.
After I downloaded the launcher update it looks like this:

When I enter my passwd the launcher does nothing. Right now it does not indicate if it is updateing the
client or not.

Any suggestions?

Try downloading a clean install.

Hi,
I have the same Issue since the update too.
When I contacted CCP, the answer was that I run my mac on a currently unsupported operating system (Yosemite).
I enabled "Auto log in" in the bottom so the launcher starts when password is entered correctly.

It's been running flawlessly for me (throughout all the Tiamat updates). As noted, when I purchased my new iMac Retina I downloaded a full client with a clean install.
